Mission and Motto
 

Mission: Pleasant Grove Elementary is committed to empowering students to actively drive and manage their learning to become a community of learners and critical thinkers through STEM.

Motto: Making a difference one student at a time. 

Vision and Beliefs

Our vision at Pleasant Grove Elementary School is to educate a community of innovators who synthesize information from many sources through STEM education by practicing 21st century skills with the use of technology, the engineering process, and balanced instruction. 
 

School Improvement Goals
  • Goal #1: Increase the percentage of students present more than 90% of enrolled days from 78% to 85%.
  • Goal #2: Increase the percentage of 3-5 grade students reading on or above grade level from 41% to 60% using GMAS and MAP scores.
  • Goal #3: Increase the percentage of students scoring proficient or distinguished in mathematics on the 2024 Georgia Milestones End of Grade Assessment for 5th from 27 to 37; 4th from 33 to 43; 3rd from 33 to 43.
