Reading Bowl
Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl
The Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl is an exciting academic competition that encourages students to develop a love for reading and enhances their comprehension skills. Named after Helen Ruffin, an educator and reading advocate, this statewide event challenges students to read a selection of books and compete in teams to answer questions based on the texts. The competition promotes teamwork, critical thinking, and a passion for literature. Our school proudly participates in this dynamic event, fostering a sense of achievement and community spirit while celebrating the joy of reading!
Mrs. Crocker and Ms. Toner are the sponsors for this club, please reach out to them if you have any questions.
This year's district competition will be held on Saturday, January 25th at Dutchtown High School
